Pyongyang, Headquarters of the Revolution
A capital city that might be considered a little broad in scope, but I can work on that as much as possible. What I need is, somewhat, a typical city upon a river. However, Pyongyang is quite filled with various structures and monuments that would be considered essential to the character of the place. The most important ones are the Mansudae Grand Monument (most of all), the Juche Tower, and the Monument of the Party’s Founding. The monuments are what are most important: these should be awe-inspiring, auraful, and accurate.
The other most important part of this work is Kim Il Sung Square and the structures that surround it, like the Grand People’s Study Hall and the historical headquarters of the Workers’ Party of Korea. The Grand People’s Study House does not need to function whatsoever; it is preferred if resources are dispensed elsewhere, but the aesthetic of the exterior contributes massively to the feeling of Pyongyang with the nature of it’s architecture, which, while built in the 80s, contrasts with the otherwise somewhat more minimal or brutalist-adjacent socialist architecture of the DPRK.
The Government Complex Building No. 1 will also be a must, as this hosts the senior government bodies and a presidential office which should make someone reconsider whether they really aren’t a communist (of course, that comment is laced with irony). The office needs to be exuberant in it’s expressiveness, almost over-the-top.
When it comes to what gets interiors, we will certainly need those, incl spawns. Other than the Government Complex Building No. 1:
-
Ministry of State Security headquarters
-
Ministry of Public Security building
-
Central Court
-
Party Headquarters, including a Central Committee meeting room
-
Mansudae Assembly Hall
-
Ministry of National Defence building, with a classroom, barracks, parade grounds. Some bleachers and a stand for the higher ups. A military-style tribunal room – just think of any movie you’ve watched with a court-martial in it and you’ll be close enough.
-
Supreme Guard Command barracks. Think “the soldiers that get treated more equally than others”. The élite, the Praetorians that are always kept in check. This is the most inventive of the lot and should be placed near Government Building No.1
-
A handful of offices of modern and historical architectural styles, lobbies, etc
-
Ministry of Foreign Affairs building (has some license as to the interior – one of the less documented buildings, ironically enough).
The Kumsusan Palace of the Sun should also exist in the game, but it does not need to be of any functional use, as with the Grand People’s Study House.
To comply with ROBLOX’s Community Standards, the Mansudae Grand Monument and references to Kim Il-Sung should not be an imitation of the Kim Il-Sung and Kim Jong-il statues or personages. An example is at
RyuSolJin - Roblox. Your own preference in how they look is preferred; but short, black hair will be needed, with a brass-like colour to the statues.
We would hope this could be done in 2 months and would be renumerated with $500 and a revenue split to be discussed. You can add me on Discord as “angelslop.”
