An upcoming Roblox game is hiring 3 map builders (one map each) for a hunter vs survivors solve-and-escape game played mostly in the dark. Survivors solve puzzles to bring the power back and open the exits while the hunter tries to catch them. Spooky and atmospheric, not very scary or gory. Themes, references and game details are shared in DMs once I think you're a good fit.
Map requirements
- Built with the map creation pack I give you once selected
- Matches the style of our maps below: Roblox semi-classic, mostly built in Studio. Meshes are fine if they fit the style and aren't realistic
- Around 350x350 studs. Flexible, but it has to feel big with lots to explore
- Made for chasing: loops, multiple routes, connected rooms, vents/crawl spaces. Second floor optional, but only if it fits the flow
- No long dead ends. Survivors need escape routes, the hunter needs ways to cut them off
- Must have puzzles scattered around the map on walls
- Looks good with the lights off AND on
- Optimized for mobile, most players are on mobile. Optimized part count, no massive unions, proper collision fidelity, avoid free models (few exceptions, consult), no scripts
- Kid friendly. No blood, gore or anything disturbing
- Blender recommended, not required. No AI generated meshes allowed
Delivery
.rbxm or .rbxl, anchored and organized into folders, with marker parts (spawns, exits, puzzle spots) placed from the pack.
Timeline
Up to 3 weeks. Keep me updated on your progress. Missing the deadline without a valid reason may get you replaced.
Payment
Full amount after I check the finished file. No other payment arrangements.
How to apply
Your first DM must include:
- Portfolio. Screenshots/videos of full maps YOU built, not single models
- Your timezone
- Your experience with chase-style maps
- Your planning process, from concept to finished map
DMing me "hi", "interested", "still open?" or no portfolio ignored. No prior map experience not hired. If you see this post, it's still open for hire!
