Eterna Online is a novel, high-fidelity, highly optimized open-world Roblox MMORPG deep in active production. We are working directly with Roblox on this game through the Roblox Jumpstart program, and directly with Joe Ferencz, former CEO of Gamefam. The codebase is 100,000 lines of strict RobloxTS across 700 modules.

We are hiring two full-time RobloxTS programmers for long-term positions.

You will work on

Combat: targeting, hit reactions, guard/parry, i-frames, status effects, server-side hitboxes/validation
Mobs and bosses: modular AI, boss mechanics, animation integration
Character and progression: creation, persistence, equipment, stats, XP, skill trees, talents
Economy and social: auction house, trading, blacksmith, cross-server guilds, duels, quests
Data and networking: Lapis persistence, buffer packets (Tether Serio), synced VFX replication
UI: HUD, menus, tooltips in Vide (TSX) with Charm state
Movement: traversal systems, mobile/console input abstraction

Required

Strong RobloxTS and strict TypeScript, production quality
Follow existing architecture and standards without rewriting to preference
Server-authoritative mindset: validation, anti-exploit
Verify work in real multiplayer and persistence conditions
GitHub branches, PRs, reviews
Clear communication, measurable progress
40 hours weekly at $17/hr on Jibble

Stack (experience preferred): RobloxTS 3 (TS 5.5 strict), Flamework, Rojo, Tether Serio, Charm, Lapis, Vide, TestEZ.

Pay: $17 USD/hour, 40 hours/week, tracked on Jibble. Two positions, full time, long term. Raises and bonuses based on contribution. Hiring immediately.
