About PARKOUR Legacy
PARKOUR Legacy is an open-world parkour game that has paved the way for many other movement games on the platform! The game has been around for over 10 years! That brings us to... PARKOUR Legacy v2.0
We're looking for someone to assist us on the way to (and through) the next stage: version 2.0.
Internally, the past 18 months have been focused on rewriting the entire codebase to be strictly-typed, and to use current-day conventions.
We're still a little while from release, so your job (for now) is to help wrap this up! We’re looking for a full-time, in-house member to stick around with us for our future.
Requirements:
Age of 18 (exceptions may be made for outstanding portfolios/counter arguments)
Fluent in English
Experience and confidence with both backend and frontend system design/work
Clean, robust, and thoughtful design -- everything should be clearly readable and editable without much hassle. When you are asked to design any system, you should first consider your method of attack, and devise a plan before you execute
Ability to fully read your task list and to understand what is asked of you, and -- more importantly -- the ability to ask questions when you're unsure of things
Accountability, responsibility & understanding of expectations (including any implied/unenumerated expectations)
-# i.e.; Going out of town? Let management know in advance!
Preferences:
Prior experience working with teams of people
Attend our development meetings
