The project
A creator/influencer simulator. Players start with a phone in a small room and
work up to being the biggest creator in the city. I need the main city hub
built the central area players spawn into and spend most of their session in.
Style reference
That video is the exact target. Low poly, saturated flat colours, clean
silhouettes, heavy environmental detail. Not a blockout, not realistic. Simulator styled.
Scope what I need built
A single contained city hub, roughly 600x600 studs, containing:
- A central plaza (100x100 studs) paving, a focal landmark, seating,
planters, lamp posts
- A ring road around the plaza with sidewalks, lane markings, crosswalks
- buildings on a street grid around that ring, 3-10 storys each (Not to many)
- 6 of those buildings enterable, with simple furnished interiors
(shop, pet store, studio, quest hub, and 2 generic)
- Street furniture throughout: benches, bins, hydrants, traffic lights,
bus stops, planters, signage
- Low poly trees and foliage
- A distant skyline ring for backdrop (non-enterable, low detail)
- (Reference video includes more detail and a better example)
Requirements
- Every surface textured. No flat untextured parts anywhere, including
building walls and roofs.
- Buildings need real facade detail window frames, sills, cornices,
balconies, ground-floor shopfronts with awnings and signage. A coloured
box with windows on it is not what I'm after.
- Roofs must be detailed. Players see them constantly from elevated angles.
AC units, water tanks, antennas, parapets.
- Consistent art direction across the whole map one palette, one level
of stylisation.
Timeline
2 days from start. I know that's tight, which is reflected in the rate.
If you have an existing low poly city kit you'd be adapting, say so that's
a plus, not a problem.
