ROLE OVERVIEW The Qantas Group Seat Modeller is responsible for designing, building, and optimising high-quality aircraft seats for our Roblox flight fleet. You will craft accurate, visually detailed, and performance-friendly seat models across First, Business, Premium Economy, and Economy cabins, ensuring an authentic travel experience for players across all Qantas Group operations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

3D Modelling a Design: Create high-detail, authentic aircraft seat models based on real-world Qantas Group cabin interiors (Qantas, Jetstar, QantasLink)
Optimisation an Performance: Ensure all models are fully optimised for Roblox Studio, maintaining clean geometry, efficient poly counts, and minimal part count to ensure optimal game performance and reduced lag.
Texturing a Detailing: Apply realistic textures, materials, and decals (including leather, fabric patterns, screen displays, and seat controls) adhering to brand standards.
Quality Assurance: Test models in-game across multiple device types to ensure visual fidelity and seamless interaction.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

Proven experience in 3D modelling using Blender, Roblox Studio, or equivalent software.
Strong portfolio showcasing architectural, interior, or hard-surface 3D assets (aviation assets preferred).
Solid understanding of Roblox performance limits, union/mesh optimisation, and SurfaceAppearance properties.
Keen eye for detail, accurate proportions, and realistic interior styling.
