Hey everyone! We’re a small passionate team creating games that will be loved and remembered by many on Roblox and beyond.

With guidance from Club Penguin’s past co-founder, we’re building Starfall Island , a social roleplay game that brings back the soul of Club Penguin, with Brookhaven’s RP aspect and Epic Minigames’ variety. Explore an island, decorate your house, collect pets, play minigames, and just hang out. The map and everything else is ready.

About The Job

We’re looking for a enthusiastic Gameplay Scripter to own the minigames and such in this project and help us bring our MVP to life.

Responsibilities

Build and implement all minigame systems including multiplayer modes, freeplay props, and session-based collection mechanics

Develop role-based work environments with NPC behaviour and interaction loops

Build in-game shop and catalog systems including external catalog integration and purchase flows via the DataModule

Implement interactive roleplay props and consumable item systems

Build / rework the previous vehicle gameplay including physics, drift mechanics, and spawn management

Implement player expression systems

Ensure all systems are fully functional on mobile and perform well on low-end devices

Requirements

Strong experience with Roblox gameplay systems and physics
Deep understanding of the Roblox API
Experience writing clean, readable code
Experience building multiplayer systems with proper server-client architecture
Reliable and consistent
Comfortable with Rojo and GitHub
Clear communicator
Portfolio with real gameplay systems to show

Nice to Have

Experience in multi-scripter projects
Mobile and cross-platform experience

Payment

Total upfront compensation is $900:

$100 initially, $200 at Phase 1, $300 at Phase 2, and $300 on full delivery
If you’re still with us after launch, a permanent percentage from the game will be on the table
