Gameplay Programmer

Location: Remote, UK based only Type: Full-time or contract with intent to transition full-time Salary: £40,000 - £80,000 depending on experience

Cinnamon Software is a UK-based Roblox studio behind major experiences including LifeTogether, BlockSpin and Bayview, with billions of visits across Roblox. We’re looking for a skilled Roblox developer to build, maintain and scale gameplay systems for live games played by millions, while helping create ambitious new experiences.

What you’ll do

Build Roblox systems, gameplay features and core mechanics using Luau
Write clean, scalable and performant code
Debug, optimise and improve systems across multiple projects
Collaborate with designers, artists and developers
Contribute to technical decisions and long-term architecture

What we’re looking for

Strong experience with Roblox Studio and Luau
Experience building polished Roblox games or gameplay systems
Strong programming fundamentals and code quality
Able to manage tasks independently and meet deadlines
Great communication and problem-solving skills
Bonus: UI, graphics, VFX, audio, optimisation or technical design experience
