About the Project:
We are looking for a skilled Terrain Builder and Track Designer to create custom, optimized racing layouts for an established Roblox MX Game. Players hop on bikes and race through a progression-based map system, unlocking increasingly challenging environments as they advance.
What You'll Be Doing:
-
Simulator Hub & Lobby Design: Design and construct a large, engaging central lobby area for players to hang out, view shop/leaderboards, and enter racing queues.
-
Track & Environment Design: Build smooth, high-flowing MX racing tracks optimized for vehicle physics (featuring clean cornering arcs, rhythm sections, natural jumps, proper banking, and clear track boundaries)
-
Biome Sculpting: Sculpt distinct natural or stylized environments for each track (rugged hills, mud pits, desert canyons, etc) to keep progression feeling fresh.
-
Performance Optimization: Ensure all maps and lobby areas are lightweight and heavily optimized to guarantee high FPS for mobile and console players.
The Team You'll Be Working With:
- You'll be collaborating directly with me on all environment and map design updates.
- If long term, you'll eventually be apart of a development team collaborating and pushing out updates.
Expectations & Time Commitment:
What's expected:
- Clear communication, meeting agreed-upon deadlines, and a willingness to iterate on track flow based on feedback.
Skills required:
- Proven experience with Roblox Studio terrain tools and realistic environment building, plus a solid portfolio on previous racing tracks or simulator hubs. (Experience developing for other hit or successful Roblox games a plus)
Availability:
- Flexible Schedule, but you'll need enough open time to handle building individual maps or committing to a long-term update pipeline, ensuring deadlines are met.
Compensation:
- $75 USD (short-term commission)
- $400 USD (Long-term package, additional compensation for contributing to updates)
