The accused privately contacted the victim to create an emote, setting a two-day deadline and agreeing on a price. The victim produced two versions of the animation, revised it according to the accused’s requests, and made further edits to match the accused’s feedback. Despite this, the accused later rejected the work, claiming they no longer wanted to hire the victim. It was later revealed that the accused had been commissioned by a third party and withheld the client’s actual instructions from the victim, resulting in unnecessary revisions and wasted effort. The accused then used the victim’s work process to fulfill their own commission while refusing to compensate the victim.
