Byeshot posted an ad in a hiring channel offering to code for people's Roblox games. He mentioned being able to code various advanced fighting mechanics, then later stated he got those advanced scripts from kits/other people and only tweaked them. Byeshot was commissioned to debug and implement a few features into an already existing NPC dialogue system. He wanted payment of 1 Xbox Game Pass, and 1k Robux upfront before he had finished the code and access to the game with both his main and alternative Roblox accounts. He was instead given a RBXL file instead, and the Xbox Game Pass upfront. Upon delivery, he adamantly refused to show footage that the script worked properly and insisted that instead he be paid the 1k Robux at the same time he sent the script. His suggestion was rejected, and he had his Xbox Game Pass revoked and was unfriended at the presumption of scamming. A ticket was opened where it was revealed he did not understand the basics of coding. He had asked others for help in the same server he was hired in, for the script he was also hired to do. The end result was a plagiarized script that didn't have the functions as commissioned. He intended to sell this script and when confronted he adamantly insists that he didn't scam since 'getting help is not against the terms' and 'read the instructions wrong' despite being able to telephone the request to other people in the server for them to be able to do the script for him.
