The accused hired the victim to develop for them. They agreed to pay half of the payment upfront as long as updates were provided. When the victim was done and these updates were provided, the accused demanded to see the files in order for the victim to receive payment, instead of giving half upfront like the agreement said. Once they were added to the scam ticket, they failed to respond.
