The offender Mark was hired for a building commission including an upfront payment. As soon as the upfront payment was received, the offender neglected to provide a status update in the agreed timeframe. The offender furthermore stated they would make use of a past commission which was similar to the current one, although this was never apart of the deal. Upon confrontation by the victim, the offender leaves the group chat. Later, after requesting their point of view, the offender has left the Investigator without response, and blocked the Investigator. Conclusively, the offender Mark is guilty according to scam rule 2.2.1 and 2.2.4: Not completing their side of the deal and changing an agreed deal without the other user's consent.
