Reported 20 days ago
The victim had posted an advertisement regarding the sale of their Roblox game when the accused contacted them through direct messages to discuss a potential purchase. After discussing the transaction, both parties reached an agreement. When it came time for payment, the accused claimed to have been scammed in previous transactions and provided screenshots of conversations with other individuals in an attempt to establish credibility. The accused also presented a screenshot supposedly showing that he had the funds available to complete the purchase. Although the victim had reservations about the accused's legitimacy, they ultimately decided to proceed with the transaction, believing that the accused might be genuine. The victim agreed to go first based on the information and assurances provided by the accused. During the transaction, the accused attempted to send the agreed-upon Robux but claimed that the victim was ineligible to receive the payment. The accused then proposed sending the Robux to an alternate Roblox account instead and instructed the victim to log into that account, claiming that the victim would be allowed to keep the account because the Robux would be deposited into it. The victim attempted to log into the alternate account but was unsuccessful. After confronting the accused about the issue, the victim discovered that the accused had unfriended them on Discord and had completely stopped responding to their messages. As a result, the victim was left without the agreed-upon payment and was unable to resolve the matter with the accused.
