I’m looking for terrain to be built for a “Control Europe”-style map. The terrain will consist of low-poly buildings and environments. The map itself will be shaped like an outline of the United States, with each state acting as its own territory.
If you’ve ever played Control Europe, the idea is similar—each state will be a different color, and the terrain should reflect real-life geography across the U.S.
For example:
The eastern United States should be greener, with more trees and vegetation.
The western regions should feel more desert-like.
Arizona could include elements inspired by the Grand Canyon, along with cacti.
Alaska should have dense forests and terrain that matches its natural environment.
Other states should follow similar real-world inspiration.
This project will require careful planning to decide what terrain fits each state, but it’s important not to overcrowd the map. The terrain should remain relatively simple, clean, and visually appealing while still feeling accurate.
Overall, the terrain will be small-scale, low-poly, and should look polished and professional.
I will also be guiding the process to make sure everything turns out exactly how intended.
