My name is ShaneBytes, and I have been developing on the Roblox platform for approximately 7 years. Over that time, I have spent years studying successful Roblox experiences, experimenting with Roblox Studio, developing systems, and building my own projects.
I’m currently working on one of my largest projects yet: Richwood Correctional Facility, a Roblox prison roleplay experience focused on creating an immersive, structured and replayable correctional environment.
We are currently looking for an investor interested in helping us take Richwood to the next level.
What We’re Seeking
We are seeking $5,000 USD in funding to expand development and launch a stronger advertising campaign.
Unlike a project that is still in the early prototype stage, Richwood already has three playable versions of the game that are complete enough to be used and tested by players.
The funding would primarily be used for:

Hiring additional developers — Programming, building, UI, systems and other development work

Advertising & player acquisition — Roblox advertising, sponsored promotion and other marketing

Game improvements — Additional content, features, polish and quality-of-life improvements

Testing & optimization — Improving performance, fixing bugs and preparing the experiences for larger player counts
Our goal is to use the investment to increase the amount of development being completed while simultaneously bringing more players into the game.
The Game
Richwood Correctional Facility is a prison roleplay experience on Roblox designed around the day-to-day operation of a large correctional facility.
Players can take on different roles within the prison, including correctional staff and inmates, while participating in structured gameplay and events.
The experience is designed to provide more than a simple prison map. Our goal is to create an environment where players have reasons to return, interact with one another and participate in ongoing prison activities.
We are also developing multiple systems to support different gameplay roles and create a more immersive correctional environment.
Current Progress
One of the biggest advantages of Richwood is that we already have three versions of the game that are playable and ready to be used.
This means the investment would not be going toward building the entire project from the ground up.
The existing versions provide us with a foundation that can be improved, expanded and marketed to a larger audience.
The additional funding would allow us to bring in developers to accelerate the development process and allow the existing team to focus on the overall direction of the project.
Additional screenshots, gameplay footage, development information and access to the current versions can be provided to interested investors.
Why Invest?
We believe Richwood has an opportunity to compete in the Roblox prison roleplay market by offering a more developed and structured experience than a typical prison roleplay game.
Our focus is on:
Rather than relying solely on players joining once and leaving, we want to build an experience that gives players a reason to continue returning.
A significant portion of the investment will also go toward player acquisition and advertising, allowing us to put the existing game in front of a much larger audience.
Previous Development
Richwood has already received significant development work and investment from the existing team.
The project has progressed through multiple versions and currently has three playable builds available.
We are now looking for outside funding to accelerate development rather than relying entirely on our existing resources.
Investment Structure
We are looking for a passive investor who is primarily interested in providing funding while our development team handles the day-to-day operation and development of the project.
We are open to discussing different investment structures depending on the investor’s expectations.
Potential terms could include:
No funds would be transferred until the investment terms have been discussed, agreed upon and documented between both parties.
Development Budget
The requested $5,000 USD would be allocated approximately toward:
Developer Hiring — $3,000
Additional programmers, builders, UI developers and other specialists.
Advertising & Player Acquisition — $1,500
Roblox advertising, promotional campaigns and other methods of attracting new players.
Development / Marketing Reserve — $500
Additional development expenses, assets, testing or unexpected costs.
The exact allocation can be adjusted depending on the project’s immediate needs.
What We’re Looking For
We are looking for an investor who understands Roblox development and is interested in supporting an existing project with a foundation already in place.
We are especially interested in investors who can provide not only funding, but potentially business, marketing or industry experience that could help us grow Richwood into a larger Roblox experience.
