We're looking for an experienced VFX artist who is genuinely interested in Dragon Ball to work with us on our project, a spiritual-successor to an older, popular game on the platform.

For VFX especially, Dragon Ball: Sparking! Zero is our primary visual reference (including some other Dragon Ball media). We want someone who can study existing Dragon Ball media and accurately translate the visual language into rblx.

Interested in someone comfortable referencing and recreating the kinds of:

impact shapes, flashes, streaks, hit effects;
ki blasts, beams, charging effects, auras, explosions, and other ki related stuff;
flight, dashing, landing, high-speed and general movement, and pursuit effects;
environmental/combat interactions and other miscellaneous effects with Sparking! ZERO and related

Some more immediate work will likely include:

Ki Charge
Basic ki blast and projectile interactions
Physical hit/impact effects
Dashes and high-speed movement
Flight effects
Landing/Hard-landing effects
Knockback and pursuit-related effects
Healthpack
possibly skill vfx
various combat and movement effects

We do have some existing work and references that can help establish direction.

very likely we will be needing custom flipbooks so it's a strong plus if you're able to do this.

What we're looking for

Has strong experience with VFX
Can accurately work from reference
Understands or is willing to seriously study DB visual style
Can create effects that will remain readable (we don't want dense visual clutter)
Communicates consistently and is easy to work with.

Being passionate about Dragon Ball is a big plus.

Looking for a long-term artist.

ideally revenue share, 3%+. can do robux or usd. we have 2 experienced devs (myself and creator of ghoul://re) managing this.
