Yo!
I am a developer working on an upcoming FNAF SB asymmetric horror game. I specialize in 3D modeling(not sure how to texture yet), and I can handle basic scripting and UI work.
I’ve been building the assets in Blender and wanted to get feedback on the style, as well as some advice on scoping the project. The concept revolves around terrifying, animatronics hunting down players.
Here is a look at the Flashlight Station and the endoskeleton I am currently fixing up:

The Game Concept:
It will be a 1v8 asymmetric game where one player controls this animatronic. The other players have to survive and complete objectives. The first aid kit will be a part of a Medic Survivor Kit!).
Questions for the community:
-
As a modeler who only knows basic scripting, what is the safest way to approach replication (Server vs. Client) for a killer’s abilities and survivor interactions so the game doesn’t lag?
-
Are there any reliable open-source frameworks, modules, or kits on the DevForum you recommend for handling asymmetric match loops (Lobbies, Round Timers, Spawning)?
Payment & Collaboration:
I am currently working with a $0 upfront budget, so I am looking for a programmer who is interested in a Revenue Share (Rev-Share) partnership.
Because I cannot pay upfront, I am not expecting a master coder to build a massive game overnight. I am looking for an intermediate scripter who wants to team up, build a small, polished 1v8 prototype together, and split the game’s earnings 50/50 upon release(not planning to release soon). I will handle 100% of the 3D assets, modeling, and environment design.
To apply, you must be at least 13 years old.
Thx for checking out my work!
