📌 Project Overview
I am developing an ability-based Obby game where players progress through 35 stages, unlock abilities, gain research/gems, and navigate parkour obstacles using unique skill sets.
Our main target for this testing phase is to optimize player retention and hit Roblox's 500 Highly Engaged Players (HEP) benchmark. Because of this, testing will focus heavily on early-game pacing, replayability, and keeping players hooked.
📋 Specific Tasks & Responsibilities for Testers
Gameplay & Balance Testing: Play through all available stages (currently 35) to test difficulty progression, stage skips, and overall fun to ensure maximum player retention.
Ability Mechanics QA: Test owned/unlocked abilities (such as Dash, Double Jump, etc.) to ensure they interact correctly with obby checkpoints.
Bug Reporting: Document and report any visual, UI, or script bugs (e.g., failed reward payouts, broken proximity prompts, UI scaling issues).
Feedback Submission: Provide structured written feedback on game mechanics, stage design, and specific ideas to help us reach and maintain our 500 HEP goal.
⏱️ Scope & Time Commitment
Time Required: Approximately 5–15 minutes per session (longer sessions or repeated plays to help test retention are greatly appreciated!).
Deadline / Testing Period: Testing starts on September 7th and runs through September 30th.
Difficulty: Low-to-Medium testing difficulty (No programming knowledge required—just thorough playtesting, obby skills, and clear communication).
🎁 Compensation & Perks

Special In-Game Rewards: Unique Tester abilities upon full game release.
