Hey! I'm the owner of Byte HQ and I’m looking for some people who want to help test two games I’m working on.
Hearthline
Hearthline is our main city-building game and is further along in development. You build and grow your own city by placing roads, zoning land, managing power and water, setting up public services, building transportation, and keeping the city’s economy running.
As a tester, you’ll try new updates, look for bugs, and give feedback on how everything feels. This includes progression, balancing, building, city management, and the economy. We also want to know if something feels confusing, too slow, too easy, or just not fun.
City Capital
This game is still SUPER early, so it is nowhere near finished yet. Right now, we mainly need help testing traffic, how it responds to different situations, and other really early systems. It might be rough or broken, but that is the whole reason we need testers.
My games will always be open for testers, so you can play and test whenever you have free time. Since everyone is volunteering, there is no set schedule or strict deadline. Most testing sessions take around 10 to 30 minutes, and we just ask that you try to check in at least once a week. Sometimes I may ask you to test something specific when a new feature is added.
You don’t need any testing experience. Just be active, report bugs as clearly as you can, and be honest. If something is confusing, boring, or just not fun, please say it.
You must currently be 16 or older to join the testing team.
This is voluntary and unpaid, but active testers will get an exclusive Discord role, be credited, and receive free in-game items in both games when they release.
