We’re looking for an experienced Roblox Scripter to join our team and help build a large-scale LiveOps / Event System for our game.

Our game currently reaches around 15,000 CCU, and we’re looking for someone who can build polished, reliable systems that can handle a large player base.

WHAT YOU’LL BE BUILDING

We want to create a fully server-sided Admin Live Event System where events can be triggered and controlled securely by authorized staff.

One example event:

A hot air balloon flies into the map The balloon drops eggs throughout the map The event plays out live for everyone in the server A frenzy begins where players race to collect the eggs Random rare eggs can spawn during the event Server-wide luck modifiers can activate Random surprises/events can occur throughout the frenzy

The system should be designed so we can easily create new events and mechanics in the future without rebuilding everything from scratch.

SECURITY IS VERY IMPORTANT

The Admin Panel should be completely server-authoritative.

We want to minimize exploit opportunities by ensuring:

Admin actions are validated on the server
Client requests are never blindly trusted
Permissions are handled server-side
Spawning/rewards are controlled server-side
Luck modifiers are controlled server-side
Event states are controlled server-side
Important actions are validated and logged
Exploiters cannot give themselves eggs, rewards, luck, etc.

You should have strong experience with:

Roblox Luau
Server/client architecture
RemoteEvents & RemoteFunctions
Secure server-authoritative systems
Admin panels / permission systems
Large multiplayer experiences
Event systems
Cutscenes and scripted sequences
DataStores / persistent player data
Optimization for high-player-count servers
Clean, modular, maintainable code

Experience working on games with 10k CCU is a major plus.
