As development continues to expand, KUGAI™ is currently looking for a UI Designer to join the team and help shape the visual identity of the game.
KUGAI™ is a dodge/parry-focused Roblox experience inspired by Gokurakugai, featuring fast-paced combat, unique mechanics, districts to explore, boss encounters, progression systems, and a variety of gameplay features.
We are looking for someone capable of creating clean, immersive, and visually distinct UI that fit the atmosphere and direction of KUGAI™.
POSITION
UI Designer
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Design menus, HUD elements, and gameplay interfaces
• Create UI for systems such as inventory, abilities, quests, rankings, progression, and other features
• Develop designs that match KUGAI™’s visual style
• Collaborate with programmers to implement and refine UI systems
• Improve existing interfaces and provide creative input on future designs
REQUIREMENTS
• Experience designing UI for games
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, spacing, and visual hierarchy
• Ability to create polished and user-friendly designs
• Strong communication skills
• Consistent progress and reliability
Experience with Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, or Roblox Studio UI development is preferred.
CURRENT STATUS
KUGAI™ is currently expanding its systems and continuing development with a growing list of features, including combat improvements, boss encounters, game modes, progression systems, and additional content.
As the team continues to grow, we are looking for developers who want to contribute to an ambitious project and help shape its future.
Compensation will be provided as development progresses and will be based on role, contributions, and commitment to the project.
