Hey! I recently launched my new brand, Byte HQ, and I'm looking for playtesters for two games currently in development.
Game 1: Hearthline (city building, main focus)
What testing involves:
- Play new builds when they drop (roughly 1-2 per week) and report bugs in our bug-report channel using a simple template (what happened, what you expected, screenshot if possible)
- Test specific features when asked, for example "build a residential zone and tell us if placement feels off" or "check if the new economy update breaks your existing save"
- Give feedback on progression pacing and balancing: what feels grindy, what feels too fast, what confused you
Time commitment: 10-30 minutes per test session, 1-2 sessions per week. No deadline pressure on any task.
Game 2: Treatybound (2D nation strategy)
Earlier in development. Players join or create nations, run governments, build economies, trade, form alliances, and go to war. Current testing focuses on core systems: nation creation, trade, and alliance mechanics. Later phases will cover elections, laws, companies, treaties, military, espionage, and world events. Same time commitment as above.
What I'm looking for:
- No testing experience required
- Stay active (checking in at least weekly), report bugs clearly, and give honest feedback, including "this isn't fun"
Payment: Voluntary/unpaid. Active testers get an exclusive Discord tag plus free in-game items in both titles at release (testers will be credited).
