[HIRING] Full-Time Environmental Artist - Barely Serious
We're hiring a full-time Environmental Artist to work across our games. This is an ongoing role, not a one-off commission. You'd be building environments for our whole studio, not just a single title.
THE WORK
The job is to build environments, matching the reference style of whichever game you're working on. Since our games share a similar structure, you'd also be building modular, reusable builds, so your own assets can carry over when we make a similar game instead of remaking everything from zero.
Tasks are broken into three sizes so you know exactly what you're taking on before you start:
- Small (single set piece): e.g. one building interior/exterior, a market stall row, a bridge crossing. Deadline: 3-5 days.
- Medium (zone/district): e.g. a residential block, a single map area (150x150 studs), a themed section of a larger map. Includes terrain, and prop placement. Deadline: 1-2 weeks.
- Large (full map): a complete playable map built to our movement/gameplay spec (sliding, wall-running, vaulting need clear geometry to support them), start to finish. Deadline: 3-4 weeks.
Every task comes with a written brief and reference images/mood board before you start.
REQUIREMENTS
- Strong portfolio of environment/world-building work on large or published Roblox games — send examples of full maps or zones, not just single props
- Comfortable with Roblox Studio and Blender
- Understanding of scale, lighting, and composition in 3D space
- Able to match an established reference style consistently across a large map
- Experience optimizing environments for mobile performance
- Fast, reliable, and communicative
- We require weekly VCs, you must be able to VC and give progress checks
- May require signing NDAs and other legal contracts
PAYMENT
Per task, payment solely depends on the difficulty of the task, usually ranging anywhere from 10,000 R$. The exact deadline is given before each task starts so you always know what you're working with.
