In my animation the head movement is far too slow and doesn't really have the "what where am I??" feel to it

The player should be sitting -> onto their knees or feet whichever you find easier to animate -> Hand reaches out -> Recoils.

-> Pause for say... 10 seconds -> Then a suprised fall (Fall is a bit generous here)
