Murder Mystery Game Scripter Needed

About the Role

I'm looking for a Roblox scripter to develop the core systems for a new Murder Mystery-style game. You will need to present a strong portfolio with a couple of years worth of Luau coding experience.

Responsibilities

Your main task will be scripting the game's core mechanics, including:

A round system that awards EXP as players survive through each match. A complete knife and gun combat system, including knife slashing and throwing mechanics. A perk system with unique perks for all three roles: Innocent, Sheriff, and Murderer. An inventory system featuring multiple item rarities and an organized inventory display. A map voting system that supports all of the maps I've created. A shop UI with Robux bundles, a luck/spin system, and rotating daily discounts on emotes and cosmetic items. A secure trading system that will be available when the game launches.

Once the core gameplay systems are complete, I have many additional features planned that are documented on a Trello board. It contains a large collection of ideas and future content for the game's continued development.

What I'll Be Doing

As the builder and modeler, I will be responsible for creating:

Every map. All gun and knife models, along with their textures. Any NPC or character models that may be required.

My goal is to create over 10 maps for the game, with at least 6 available at launch.

The game will also launch with approximately 5 cosmetic bundles, each containing 12 weapon skins.

Team

We'll also be working alongside several animators who will create emotes, cutscenes, and other animations for the game.

Work hours are flexible, and I understand that school comes first, as I'm a college student myself.

Marketing

I'll be handling the game's marketing by creating promotional content for platforms such as TikTok and YouTube. I have experience with video editing and plan to use social media to maximize the game's reach and attract players.
