[HIRING] Long-Term VFX Artist for Upcoming Roblox Project
👋 Hey everyone! We are looking for a highly skilled, passionate, and dedicated Long-Term VFX Artist to join our development team. We are working on a large-scale, high-quality combat game featuring distinct weapon classes, unique biomes, and fast-paced gameplay.
If you excel at creating immersive, high-performance visual effects that elevate combat feel, we want you on our team.
🛠️ WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

Designing stylized, impactful combat VFX (slashes, impact craters, hit indicators, magical/elemental effects).

Creating environmental effects for distinct biomes (dust, particles, ambient lighting cues).

Collaborating closely with our Builders and Animators to ensure effects align with weapon hitboxes and weight classes.
🎯 REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of experience with Roblox Studio’s ParticleEmitter system, Beams, Trails, and Attachments.

Proficiency in Blender (for mesh distortion, custom slash meshes, and flipbook textures) or specialized VFX software.

Strong understanding of game optimization (managing particle limits, avoiding memory leaks, and keeping it lag-free for lower-end devices).

Ability to adapt to a specific stylistic direction (Stylized/Anime/High-Fantasy).

Active communication and reliability (meeting deadlines is a must).
