Jujutsu Variants is a Roblox battlegrounds game based off Jujutsu Kaisen. The premise of our game is the idea of interchangeable moves in a set to allow players to greater customize their combos and playstyle. Our goal for combat is to reach the quality and smoothness of The Strongest Battlegrounds combat, with the mechanical possibilities of Jujutsu Shenanigans.
Currently, we have a combat system in place, but it feels clunky and non-rewarding. The task at hand is to collaborate with our current scripter (mostly for discussion on code structures and how everything works together so you're not stuck navigating through everything without guidance) so that you can make the current combat as smooth and rewarding as possible.
The task consists of rewriting or creating new systems to remove/reduce unnecessary delays, fixing animation timings, editing our movement system to maximize smoothness, improving responsiveness, and other small fixes to create an overall more enjoyable combat experience for players.
You must send your portfolio when DMing me, or have it in your bio. You MUST have past work in battlegrounds combat that shows quality work, preferably I would be able to test the system to get a feel of it.
NOTE: This task is solely for the m1s system, so the payment is to match that workload, if you are able to meet our expectations when completing the current task, then we will offer you a developer position.
