[HIRING] Roblox Technical Lead / Scripter — Per-Task Possible Long-Term Rev Share
I’m looking for a Roblox technical lead/scripter for an original anime stat-grind fighting RPG.
This starts as per-task paid prototype work. If we work well together, this can become a long-term technical lead role with monthly pay and possible revenue share.
The game direction:
- Power Level progression system
- Meditation wave training
- Basic combat
- Abilities
- Transformations
- Bosses/quests later
- Fair reroll systems with in-game obtainability and pity
- Clean expandable codebase
Requirements:
- Strong Roblox/Luau experience
- Can build clean modular systems
- Understands RemoteEvents/RemoteFunctions
- Can handle DataStores safely
- Can prevent basic exploit abuse
- Can debug and fix bugs
- Can use Codex/AI coding tools effectively without blindly trusting bad code
- Good communication
Payment:
Prototype phase is paid per task.
Example task ranges:
- Small fixes/features: $5–$10
- Medium systems: $15–$25
- Larger systems: $50–$100
First paid tasks may include:
- Clean project structure config/data framework
- Power Level XP saving/loading
- Basic combat system
- Meditation wave training system
- Three abilities
- One transformation system
If the prototype goes well and you become a long-term core developer, monthly pay and revenue share can be discussed. Revenue share would depend on contribution and reliability, likely around 5–10% for a true long-term technical lead.
