Hello! I am developing a large-scale Roblox driving and roleplay game set in a real city and I am looking for an experienced modeler to create a realistic open-world map.
📍 Map Scope
The map is based on real-world , using Google Earth satellite imagery for accurate road layout and positioning.
It will include:
• Highway systems ( on and off ramps, merges, interchanges)
• roads
• Downtown-style city areas
• Tourist zones
• Residential neighborhoods and local roads ect
🛠️ Building Method (Very Important)
This project will NOT use basic Roblox parts for roads and terrain
We will be using a mostly Blender workflow
• Import 2D satellite images from Google Earth
• Trace roads and layouts inside Blender
• Create clean, optimized road meshes
• Export into Roblox Studio for placement
🛠️ Tasks Required
• Trace real-world roads using Google Earth
• Build highways (ramps, interchanges, bridges) in Blender
• Maintain accurate scale and proportions
• Create smooth curves and realistic layouts
• Import and align assets in Roblox Studio
• Optimize for smooth driving performance
📏 Timeline
• Initial playable section (highway small area): 2–8 weeks
• Continued map expansion will be developed in phases over time
• The full map will not be completed all at once
🎯 Target: Playable release by fall of 2026 (with ongoing updates after launch)
💰 Payment
• $1200 USD total (milestone-based)
• Partial upfront available
• Bonus pay possible for high-quality work
✅ Requirements
• Must be 17 or older
• Strong experience with Blender (required)
• Must be skilled at using Google Earth for map recreation as well as Google Street View
• Ability to accurately trace real-world layouts
• Portfolio required (maps/roads preferred)
• Good communication
