Hello, my name is ace. I'm the owner of Archive All Entertainment (AAE). We are looking for a professional Animator.
What You Will Be Working On
In this section, I’ll be describing your primary responsibilities. These tasks are pulled directly from our Trello for our upcoming project, Voyage RNG.
Task #1: Fishing Rod Animation (Directional)
This is the core interaction of our game. You will be responsible for creating fluid, directional casting and reeling animations that feel responsive and high-quality for the player.
Task #2: Boat Driving & Stopping Animations
You will create the character animations for operating boats. This includes directional leaning while driving and a "braking/stopping" impact animation to give the movement a physical, weighted feel.
Task #3: Catch Animation
The "big moment" in an RNG game. You'll script the character's reaction to catching a fish think excitement, weight on the line, and the final "pull" out of the water.
The Team You’ll Be Working With
You’ll work mainly alone, but you will occasionally collaborate with our scripter to ensure the animation priorities and "blend weights" are functioning correctly in-game. We maintain a professional workplace environment, so keeping your animation files organized and labeled is a requirement.
The Skills and Amount of Free Time You'll Need
We are looking for an animator who understands weight, timing, and player feedback.
The skills we are looking for:
2+ years in Roblox Animation (R6 or R15 as specified).
Experience with directional/blended movement animations.
Fine with agreeing to and negotiating terms.
Strong communication and a "workplace-first" mindset.
The amount of free time you'll need:
We value efficiency and smooth movement.
What’s Expected of You
You will be expected to finish work in a timely manner. We only want to pay for what the work is actually worth aka animations that are ready to be exported and used immediately.
