I'm creating an Asymmetrical game similar to Forsaken or Flee the Facility. I need someone advanced, and with experience. Proof of concept is already done and play tested, and I've done a bit of the main game in Knit, but I need someone who is able to continue it.
Some things you'll be doing:
- fixing & polishing my round manager and objective/computer system
- shop system (I've already got a basic datastore back-end, but it's unfinished. A shop with characters, and skins to the characters)
- character & skin system (able to select character, you get their abilities when the round starts, and you turn into them or the skin. this is also linked to the shop system)
- progression & currency
- player logic, like sprinting, walking, killer m1s, with custom animations depending on the character (you don't make the animations)
- Effect Manager (e.g. slowed, stunned)
- achievements, possibly?
- Ability framework. When you spawn in as the character when the game begins, you get their abilities. But actual abilities will be added later, you will not be in charge of that unless you ask.
So it's mostly back-end scripting, with a few front-end stuff like the shop and player logic.
You'll be working solo, or alongside me.
The skills you need
- Experience with Asyms, Round systems, shops, Back-end etc.
- Good communication
- Experience with Knit or OOP
Price and deadline is negotiable, paid in group funds. We can do on completion, or milestone based, like halfway through. For the deadline, I am thinking around 2 weeks to 1 month to complete most of these systems. Let me know if you have any questions or if you want to work with me.
