Voxelsoft - Hiring TypeScript Dev

About Us Greetings! I'm Flauschi, Founder and Owner of Voxelsoft. We're currently looking for one experienced TypeScript dev to join our team and journey in building exceptional tools that primarily target other developers. We're in the process of building a SAAS platform simplifying a variety of things for Roblox Devs and Game Owners such as moderation and data storage that can easily be integrated into external tools such as discord bots, while empowering games with real-time cross server communication to allow for things such as global marketplaces and other useful tools.

About The Position We are looking for a frontend or backend dev, so you don't need to be able to do both, but you can also apply for a position handling both. You'll be working with me, who mainly handles the backend, and another dev who primarily takes care of our frontend. Your responsibilities will be to help out with the frontend or engineering various parts of our backend infrastructure. The techstack we are using is NextJS with TypeScript and MUI for the frontend, ExpressJS with TypeScript for the backend, CockroachDB (a PostgreSQL based DB), Redis for caching and part of our backend infra is in Kotlin. This is a long term position and upon release of the product you'll be paid a certain share of profits depending on your contributions and this will be ensured using a formal employment contract.

Requirements All applicants need at least 3 years of experience with TypeScript and experience with LuaU, Kotlin and SQL are welcome, but not necessary. Depending on whether the application is for frontend or backend you also need to have at least half a year of experience with NextJS. This is a passion project for now and therefore we are very flexible with the amount of time you need to put in, but a minimum of 10h a week is required. You need to be at least 16 years or older.
