We are developing a hardcore extraction shooter inspired by the STALKER series and are looking for a talented 3D Hard-Surface Modeler to join our team. The project requires high-quality, game-ready firearms that fit a post-soviet, "lived-in" industrial aesthetic.
What you will be doing:
Modeling iconic Eastern and Western firearms (e.g., AK-series, Makarov, VSS Vintorez) with a focus on hard-surface realism.
Creating "worn and battered" textures—think sun-bleached barrels, scratched wood, and slight rust—to match the gritty atmosphere of the Zone.
Ensuring all models are optimized for Roblox (aiming for under 2,000–3,000 tris per weapon) while maintaining high visual fidelity through smart use of SurfaceAppearance (Normal, Metalness, and Roughness maps).
The team you’ll be working with:
You will work closely with our Animator to ensure all moving parts (bolt, magazine, trigger, safety) are separate meshes for realistic reload and firing animations
Skills and free time needed:
Advanced proficiency in Blender (or equivalent) for hard-surface modeling.
Experience with Substance Painter or high-quality PBR texturing for that realistic "grime" look.
Availability for 10+ hours a week to help us build a robust initial arsenal.
