I’m currently developing an FPS game on Roblox and already have the core systems in place, including shooting mechanics and basic movement. I’m now looking for a reliable scripter to help push the game further and get it ready for release.
This is a long-term, low-commitment collaboration (around 2–3 hours per week), where I need someone who can step in to assist with a variety of scripting tasks as they come up. The role is flexible, but it requires someone who is comfortable working across different systems and problem-solving independently when needed.
The types of tasks I need help with include:
Debugging and fixing issues in existing systems
Expanding and refining gameplay mechanics (e.g., weapon switching, recoil improvements, animations)
Implementing backend systems such as data saving, backups, and player progression
Assisting with UI-related scripting when necessary
Optimizing scripts for performance and scalability
Helping integrate new features cleanly into the existing codebase
Since this is currently a solo project, I’m mainly looking for someone who can act as a second developer—someone I can rely on when I hit technical roadblocks or need to speed up development.
This isn’t a heavy workload, but consistency and communication are important. If you’re experienced with Roblox Lua and enjoy working on FPS-style systems, this could be a great opportunity to collaborate on a game with real potential.
