Hello, I'm skibidisigma2077.
I'm creating a multiplayer fps arena shooter Roblox game inspired by "STRAFTAT." I'm seeking a skilled and reliable LONG-TERM Roblox scripter to join the project and help bring this vision to life from start to finish. Or potentially a partner to co develop the game with me, who knows.
Project Overview:
The game focuses on fast-paced FPS mechanics with a significant emphasis on the player's movement, with smooth gunplay, fun movement, fast paced rounds, and engaging progression. The goal is to create a polished, a game that standouts among the rest of the fps shooters on roblox that's creative, and a high-retention experience with strong replayability.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and script core FPS systems (weapons, shooting mechanics, hit detection, reload systems, etc.)
• Create smooth and responsive player combat + movement systems
• Make a randomized map choosing system (the game is planned to have over 100+ gameplay maps)
• Implement UI systems (HUD, crosshair, ammo, health, kill feed, shop, menus, etc)
• Ensure all core systems are optimized, secure from exploits, and feel responsive.
• Collaborate on game design and suggest improvements
Requirements:
• Strong experience with Roblox Studio and Lua scripting
• Prior experience working on FPS or combat-based systems
• Ability to write clean, efficient, and scalable code
• Good communication and reliability
• Show past creations
Bonus Skills (Not Required, but would help a lot !!!):
• Knowledge of animations and visual effects (VFX)
• I STRONGLY encourage you check out the game that inspires this project on steam to get a feel of what the game is, it's free!
